We
welcome your trade-in, and in most cases can allow you fair market
value or more. This is usually what you would receive from a private
sale, but you save the time and hassle, as well as the security
risk of selling it yourself. Simply pick out the piano you like.
We'll deduct your trade-in value and include free pick-up for your
trade-in.
Your piano's value will depend on
its brand, age, condition, and where it is located. The value of
your piano will vary depending on whether it's a vertical or a grand,
and its height if a vertical and its length if a grand. It will
also be influenced by the demand for that type of used piano in
our area. Other factors such as population growth, economic outlook,
seasonal influence, and competitive choices will impact a piano's
market value. Call us to learn more about the value of your trade-in.
If you want to save yourself the time and hassle of advertising
your piano for sale and trying to sell it yourself, give us a call.
We are always looking for quality pianos that we will purchase without
a trade in. Having a garage sale to sell a piano works for some
people but the reality is, we buy pianos for what they are truly
worth. We know how the piano's condition, brand, and the quality
effects its value and we are more than happy to give you fair market
value for your piano. Call us to learn how our purchase program
can save you a lot of time and hassle.
One
of the best things you can do for yourself or a child is to commit
to a learning program that will provide the skills needed to make
piano playing a lifetime pleasure. Piano Warehouse works with a
broad base of piano teachers residing within San Diego County. We
can put you in contact with a qualified piano teacher in your area.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, quality piano
instruction makes music more enjoyable but there are other benefits
as well. Studies have shown that students that learn to play piano
quite often do better in math and science. And it only makes common
sense that young people focused on the joy and rewards of growing
musical skills will have less interest in non-productive activities
such as drugs, gangs, and related problems.
All piano instructors have diverse
backgrounds and it's important to understand their experience and
how it blends with your musical goals before selecting an instructor.
Whether you wish to become an accompanist for vocalists, a concert
pianist, or a free style jazz pianist, the background of your piano
instructor can be very important. Maybe your interest is rock and
roll maybe it's classical. The important thing is to keep in mind
is that learning to play the piano will give you a lifetime of fun
and a sense of accomplishment that is all yours. It doesn't matter
what reason for playing piano is but it does matter who teaches
you to play.
Other factors may influence your instructor
selection as well, such as their credentials, location, schedule
flexibility, willingness to come to your home, offering classroom
or online instruction, making it fun, being a disciplinarian, and
having fees that suit your budget. Whatever your situation, selecting
the right instructor will help you meet your unique goals. Piano
Warehouse recommended instructors come from a wide variety of musical
backgrounds. Although we recommend quality piano instructors, they
are not employees of Piano Warehouse. Please feel free to contact
them to learn more about how they can help you.

An
out of tune piano may cause frustration and become a distraction
to a student who may remember how a song sounds from somewhere else
yet realizes his or her piano doesn't sound quite the same. An early
piano player may not understand that an un-tuned piano can hinder
their ability to learn, but it can. The better a piano sounds the
more likely a new student will stick with it. For the most enjoyment
and for the health of your piano, it should be tuned regularly in
order to properly present the tones the instrument is capable of
and designed to produce. The weather is the major culprit in keeping
your piano in tune. Extra humidity causes it to play sharp and extra
dryness causes it to play flat. Fluctuations in room temperature
can sometimes affect only a portion of the keyboard such as the
bass, treble, or middle range.
Professional musicians tune their
pianos several times a year, as seasons change, and before every
performance in a concert hall. Your need to tune may not be of this
frequency but annual tuning is suggested. The need can vary according
to the type of piano, its age, the usage it gets, its purpose, how
often it's moved and its location.
But there is more to quality piano
sounds than just tuning. Piano Warehouse provides you with the comfort
of a fully staffed, highly experienced piano repair and maintenance
department. Tuning a piano is a good start but any warranty work,
repair, or trouble shooting can be done by our factory trained service
technicians. Piano Warehouse has the largest staff of piano experts
in Southern California. We can repair or tune just about any make
of piano whether you purchased it from us or not.
We can set up a regular schedule for
tuning your piano, or you may contact us whenever you feel the need
arises.
